After excelling in high school, I initially pursued a career in the arts as an actor, model, and visual artist. I’ve always loved creative expression, from hand sketches to painting, but over time I felt called to continue my education and explore new challenges.
In college, I discovered an unexpected passion for mathematics. What first seemed difficult and abstract soon became a source of structure and clarity in a chaotic world. With dedication and persistence, I completed my B.A. in Mathematics at UC Berkeley—an incredibly rigorous but deeply rewarding experience.
Today, I combine my artistic creativity with the analytical skills I developed through my studies to make complex ideas approachable and easy to understand. This balance of creativity and precision allows me to explain mathematics in unique and engaging ways.
For over nine years, I’ve been helping students of all backgrounds build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and discover the joy that can be found in learning.
After high school, I entered the workforce, gaining experience in retail, construction, and land surveying. During that time, I developed a deep fascination with physics, which inspired me to return to school to study the subject. While pursuing my education, I discovered not only a passion for learning but also for teaching both physics and mathematics.
I graduated from Sonoma State University with a double major in Physics and Mathematics, earning both degrees with distinction and completing my studies with a 4.0 GPA. I understand firsthand what it’s like to struggle in challenging courses, and I know what it takes to succeed.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time in nature with my fiancée—whether it’s going for a drive, exploring the outdoors, or relaxing on a hike. I’m a patient teacher who excels at breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps, and I look forward to helping you build a strong foundation in math and physics.
